Raincoat 5706 is made of PEVA material. Raincoats made of this material are particularly characterized by high strength, lightness and consistency.

PEVA material has a much higher tensile strength than classic PVC and almost half the weight, which is a big advantage especially for hiking. Thanks to the high strength, even weaker foils can be chosen, which results in a greater consistency of raincoats. The PEVA material does not harden like PVC with decreasing temperature.

In all types of raincoats, the prints are protected against tearing by a fused backing. A similar reinforcement is also made in the armpit.
